WHAT IS ADVANCED ENERGY?

Energy surrounds us in many facets of life and the ability to harness it for productive purposes as economically as possible is the challenge before us all. Advanced energy is derived from a variety of sources that don't include the burning of our precious fossil fuels; rather it comes from our harnessing the power of energy by means that don't impact our environment so negatively.

There are many ways that energy may be captured including, but not limited to:
  • Solar
  • Wind
  • Hydro-Electric
  • Hydrogen
  • Ethanol
  • Biofuels
  • Biomass

THE FACTS: A WORLD OF CHANGE

While industry strives to find an advanced energy solution to depleting fossil fuels, energy technologies represent prime venture capital investment potential, creating unprecedented business opportunities for startups and established companies.
  • Clean energy alternatives will account for more than half the energy produced around the world by 2020, dramatically altering the global economic balance of power.

        GET INVOLVED

 Creating a sustainable society means

 becoming more socially responsible.
 Many leadership initiatives in the
past, like any "great cause", do not
 come  without costs.  Corporations
today realize that they should become
 more  socially and environmentally
 responsible, but in what ways?
   1.  Reducing environmental and
        social impacts is an important
        short-term step.
   2.  To position themselves in the
        forefront of 'green utilities',
        corporations will declare long-
        term goals and strategies to
        achieve progress on behalf of
        environmental, social, economic
        and community issues.
